Nanobody world
Nanobodies are a novel type of antigen receptor fragment derived from the heavy chain variable region of camelid (camels and llamas) or cartilaginous fish (sharks and rays) immunoglobulins. With a molecular weight of only 12-15 kDa, they are the smallest known antibody fragments (2-4 nm) to date. Their small size, high stability, excellent specificity, high affinity, low immunogenicity, ease of genetic modification, and scalable production make them highly valuable in basic research, clinical diagnostics, and therapy.
Jotbody offers an advanced nanobody discovery technology platform, rich experience in custom development of camelid VHH and shark vNAR, and comprehensive services for nanobody research and production. These services include antigen design and preparation, humanization and affinity maturation of nanobodies, protein expression, and conjugation modification.
